hey honey, i've got an idea- when we get our new coffee maker, let's get one that makes coffee!

ROCHESTER, N.Y. Dozens of people told the State Board of Elections today that they want New York's new voting machines to be accurate, tamper-proof and accessible for people with all sorts of disabilities.

I don't know about you, but I'd feel kind of stupid standing in front of a Board of Elections and telling them that voting machines should be accurate and tamper-proof. I suppose if we don't tell them they reserve the right down the road to say "if you wanted them accurate and tamper-proof you should have said so"?

Man, do I feel stupid. You can get a coffee maker that makes coffee? Because ours doesn't. Oh it grinds beans and gurgles and shoots brown water all over the floor, but I'll be damned if we can get a cup of joe out of the thing.

Where do you get one of them? Them that make the coffee?

funny you should mention that, Anti. I feel like there must have been some sort of cosmic cause and effect thing happening yesterday. After posting this, I went home and promptly knocked the coffee carafe out of the drying rack and on to the floor. So now my coffee maker doesn't make coffee either.
