This must be a hard time for you Monk. Seein' as your sweet on her and all. Posted by: antigeist at :07"hello" The Dems got their asses Kicked. Did you read any of the sources you posted...I've got vertigo from all that spin. This is gonna piss you off, but you know what, Condy and the White House delivered a hole in one today. FACT: Anyone that bothered to tune in saw one individual being beaten up by the big government democrats...every quiver in her voice was calculated for effect and the dems bit hard and the republicans did the chicken walk from third to home, stopping half way to moonwalk, tip the styrafoam hat, twirl the cane, then do the charleston across the plate. BOOya! Nobody believes that the whitehouse screwed up 9/11. Yet how many have unwittingly stepped on the "Rice must testify" bandwagon....Bush wins every 9/11 debate, case closed, give it up. NO ONE had any idea 9/11 going to happen....and as far as leadership goes during that time, it was about the only thing he did well throughout his presidency. Every liberal was whacked over the skull with their own blind partisanship today. Posted by: Chet Apes at :00Chet- I think you're the one walking into the republican's trap. The Bush administration wants to label any challenge as partisanship or political maneuvering and then air a campaign commercial with images of 9/11. Of course the hearings are a farce- everything about them is orchestrated and scripted. "NO ONE had any idea 9/11 going to happen"? I agree with that statement, except I would change "NO" to "EVERY". Of all the emotions I experienced on 9/11, surprise was not among them. Compare the intelligence they had saying that Al Qaeda was preparing to attack the US using passenger planes with the intelligence saying that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. The white house DID screw up 9/11. The fact that "nobody believes" it doesn't mean it's not true. By the way, I think Clinton would've screwed it up just as badly. I saw part of the hearings and I didn't see anybody being beaten up. I saw a savvy individual steadfastly following a script that's full of LIES. This hearing, as expected, brought out nothing new and Condy merely repeated the same statements she made before- they were lies then and they were yesterday as well. We know what she knew and when she knew it, but to think we were going to hear her say it in these hearings would have been pure fantasy. Posted by: monk at :07 | ![]() |
