Big ups to Dennis Kucinich for his performance in last night's Democratic debate. I'm paraphrasing here, but a panelist asked him something along the lines of "What do you say to people who say 'I like what Kucinich has to say, but he doesn't seem electable'?".
Kucinich (again, probably paraphrasing): "Well, I'm electable if you vote for me!".
Again, Kucinich was virtually the only candidate to receive applause for his statements, and again I'm forced to paraphrase because the news items I can find barely mention that he was there.
I too watched Kuc....uh, what's his name, whatever, that was definitely the highlight of the debate. Although in the version I saw he kept refering to one of the monitors as Paula Abdul, and Dick Gephardt as Clay Aiken. There should be a reality show called "who wants to be the president of the united states of america" Joe Millionaire could run and during the campaign when we find out he's just a constuction worker from Perth-Amboy, we could watch his numbers go through the roof because he's not a d.c. insider.
Posted by: Harrison Parsifal Cunting at 07.01.04 11:40I remember staying in this cottage once on a summer vacation. There was an old painting on the wall entitled "Parsifal, Cunting". I believe the artist's name was Harrison. I guess what I'm getting at is that I don't think that's your real name- I think you stayed at that same cottage, you big fake!
See you next tuesday! (get it? C U Next Tuesday?)
