I know it's been awhile, near six years, and time can cause our memories to grow hazy; particularly while having to endure such a long, relentless period of shock...so it's understandable that you may have forgotten completely. If that is in fact the case, may I present you with a gentle reminder:

THIS

is what a president looks like.

meh. the man appears to have no left hand.

i mean, not like i don't hate what there is right now. but i hope we could do better by half, if we're talking about what it's supposed to look like. it should look like it has two hands. unless it's john mccain, who has a reason.

also, "excellent responses when it comes to PR" would not have included that bit with the presidential guitar. that was the worst PR ever.

remember what you said about "hard work"? apparently the earnest phrase of the day is "sober look" another pair of words with which he has, at best, only a dim familiarity.

I believe when he said "excellent responses when it comes to PR" he was being critical. Intimating that the ONLY response to the disaster that was done in a timely fashion, was the spin.

And my point may have gotten lost inside a joke...I'm not saying Barak for president (although...hey, fucking Carrot Top at this point). I was commenting how, after two solid weeks of watching a group of clueless, ineffective, totally hapless idiots try to deal with disaster (again), I'd forgotten what it was like to see a leader behave *presidential*. With one hand tied behind his back, even.
