To announce the new tax cut, Bush and his peeps picked a factory for the backdrop. Apparently all the workers are being forced to make up the time that Bush spoke or not get paid. Realizing the American people no longer have the time or inclination to wade through written or spoken words, they're communicating through images now. Or wait...that's horrifying. Deceit is even simpler with pictures. One picture is worth a thousand bogus words. For instance, a picture of Bin Laden next to a picture of Saddam Hussein speaks for itself.
Maybe a moratorium on TV and print political statements; fireside chats require finesse.
